Secondary Teacher

Location: Sholing

Start Date: January 2025

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Salary Scale: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join one of our client secondary schools in Sholing.  This role is ideal for someone who strives to provide an inspiring learning environment that nurtures academic growth, personal development, and strong moral values.

As a Teacher in a secondary school, you will inspire, educate, and guide young learners to achieve their potential across a variety of subjects.

Responsibilities of a Secondary Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom atmosphere that supports diverse learning needs.
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans and materials to inspire curiosity and engagement.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on students' progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.

Required Qualifications for a Secondary Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in secondary education.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for a new check.
