Salary: £76.92 - £95.68 Per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time/Permanent

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the individual learning and behavioural needs of students. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive and supportive educational environment tailored to each student's needs.
Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:
- Offer tailored assistance to individual students with special educational needs to help them overcome learning challenges and achieve academic success.
- Aid the teacher in lesson preparation, classroom management and the facilitation of engaging and effective lessons.
- Assist in assessing and recording students' progress, providing valuable feedback to the teacher to inform instructional strategies.
- Help maintain a supportive and encouraging classroom atmosphere that fosters student participation and confidence.
- Assist in tracking the progress of students, providing regular feedback to teachers and contributing to individual education plans (IEPs).
- Work closely with teachers, parents and other staff members to implement effective support strategies tailored to each student’s needs.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Be a recent graduate with a degree in Education or a related field.
- Prior experience working as a Full-Time Teaching Assistant in an SEN-based educational support role. Additionally, experience in Behaviour Management is required
- Have an understanding and compassionate approach to helping the students in an inclusive learning environment.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of special educational needs and effective teaching methodologies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Have an updated CV (with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps)
- An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
