Job Title: SEND Teacher
Location: Poole
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 Annually (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time

About the role:
As a SEND Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs, creating tailored lessons that cater to their unique learning styles. They foster a supportive and inclusive environment, helping students overcome challenges and reach their full potential academically and personally.
Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:
- Plan and teach interesting lessons that are adapted for students with different needs, including moderate, severe, and complex learning difficulties.
- Use different teaching methods and tools to match each student’s learning style and needs.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to make the classroom a supportive and inclusive space.
- Keep track of how students are doing and change your teaching approach if needed to help them reach their goals.
- Communicate regularly with parents, carers, and others to share updates on student progress and address any concerns.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, experience working with students with SEN preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
- Flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude towards working with students with diverse needs.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and grow as an educator.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
