GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work with students at a school in Southampton. The school offers excellent facilities, including a well-equipped music room, spacious outdoor play areas, and sports amenities, creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join as a Teaching Assistant the school at an exciting time. We are looking for enthusiastic, creative, and passionate individuals to join our team. Full training will be provided to help you develop the skills needed to support students effectively.

To be successful for the Teaching Assistant role experience is desirable in:

  • Previous teaching roles
  • Sports Coaching
  • Have worked in a Nursery before
  • Support work or healthcare
  • Youth work
  • Working with challenging behaviour

The key responsibilities ofthe Teaching Assistant role:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide personalised support to students, helping them grasp challenging concepts.
  • Work with colleagues to develop creative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Support the social and emotional well-being of students.

To work with GSL Education as a Teaching Assistant, you should: 

  • Have the right to work in the UK. 
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years. 
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
