Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Salary: £83.33 - £90.00 per day
Start Date: After Easter
Contract Type: Full-Time
"Are you a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in students' learning journeys?" If so, GSL Education are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a secondary school in Lincoln. This full-time role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting students aged 11-16, helping them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, ensuring they stay engaged and make progress.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and adapting materials to meet students' needs.
- Support students with SEN, behavioural challenges, or additional learning needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour and a growth mindset in the classroom.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and lesson planning.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience supporting students in a secondary school setting is desirable.
- A caring and patient approach to working with young people.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
