Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 Per Hour (Depending on Experience)

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring students receive the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed. Working alongside teachers, you will assist with lesson delivery, provide extra support to students who require it, and help create an engaging and structured classroom environment. Your support will be essential in helping students stay focused, motivated, and confident in their learning.
What you have to do as a responsible Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Assist in delivering engaging lessons, ensuring all students can access the curriculum.
- Provide individual and group support to students who need additional help.
- Encourage students to develop their confidence and independence in the classroom.
- Help manage behaviour and engagement, fostering a respectful and supportive atmosphere.
- Support teachers with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and resources.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to support students' progress.
- Promote positive relationships with students to enhance their learning experience.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is advantageous.
- A CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and staff.
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children’s learning.
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
