Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 Per Hour (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate

As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted support to students who require additional assistance. You will play a vital role in fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere, encouraging students to reach their full potential and build confidence in their abilities.
TA Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group support to students in their learning.
- Assist teachers in preparing lesson materials and classroom activities.
- Encourage students to engage with the curriculum and develop key skills.
- Support classroom management by fostering a positive and structured learning environment.
- Work with students who require extra guidance, helping them stay motivated and focused.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure student progress.
- Help maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom setting.
Teaching Assistant Skills & Qualification:
- A CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or a similar role is advantageous.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with students and staff.
- A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting students’ needs.
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
