Secondary Supply Teacher – Plymouth (PL4 & PL5 Areas)
Location: Plymouth (PL4 & PL5)
Salary: £110-£130 per day
Start Date: Immediate
GSL Education is seeking flexible and reliable Secondary Supply Teachers to work in schools across the PL4 and PL5 areas of Plymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for Qualified Teachers (QTS) who are happy to cover a variety of subjects and are looking for regular supply work.
About the Role
As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across different subjects, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and flexibility while maintaining classroom experience in different school settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and establish strong relationships with students.
- Follow school policies on behaviour management and safeguarding.
- Mark and assess work where required.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching in secondary schools and confidence in covering multiple subjects.
- Strong classroom management skills and adaptability.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
- Willingness to work in PL4 and PL5 schools on a regular basis.
