Job Title: Nursery Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Ashington
Salary: £87 - £ 108 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Daily Supply, Long Term

If so, GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Nursery Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a nurturing and vibrant nursery school in Ashington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a positive impact on children's learning.
Responsibilities of the Nursery Teaching Assistant (TA)
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to nursery-aged children.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Support students with differentiated learning needs.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage student participation.
- Assist with general classroom duties, including preparing learning materials.
Requirements of the Nursery Teaching Assistant (TA)
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or in a similar role (preferred).
- A proactive and patient approach to supporting children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for education and child development.
- Ability to adapt and work flexibly across different age groups.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
