Salary: £83.33 - £90.00 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a dedicated and supportive school in Grantham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support, helping them develop their confidence, independence, and academic skills. You will play a key role in assisting teachers, implementing tailored learning plans, and fostering an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment. Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Support students in developing communication, social, and life skills.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to meet student needs.
Requirements of the SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (desirable but not essential).
- A patient, understanding, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
