Salary: £83.33 - £90.00 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive school in Grantham. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to offer individualised support to a student, helping them build confidence, overcome obstacles, and reach their full potential. As a 1:1 TA, you will collaborate closely with the class teacher to provide tailored guidance that meets the student’s specific needs. Responsibilities of the 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Offer tailored support to a student with additional learning needs.
- Assist with classroom activities, modifying tasks to match the student's abilities.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the student in developing independence, confidence, and active engagement in learning.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to track progress and set realistic goals..
Requirements of the 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in a 1:1 support role (desirable).
- A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to meeting student needs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete all necessary background checks.
