SEN Support Worker
Location: Christchurch
Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 Per Hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Support Worker to join a welcoming and supportive school in Christchurch. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing tailored support to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities of an SEN Support Worker:
- Provide one-to-one and group support for students with special educational needs.
- Assist teachers in implementing personalised learning plans.
- Encourage and promote independence, confidence, and self-esteem in students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
- Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to the teaching team.
- Help manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
Requirements of an SEN Support Worker:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (preferred).
- A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
