SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Winton
Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 Per Hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Winton. This rewarding role gives you the chance to make a real difference by providing tailored support to students and fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Work one-to-one or with small groups of students with SEN to meet their individual needs.
- Support students in their learning, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assist with implementing personalised learning plans and strategies.
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons and school activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Create an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
Requirements of an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred).
- A compassionate, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt and respond to the diverse needs of students.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
