Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate / April 2025
Contract Type: Full Time/Permanent

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced teacher to help students with various SEN challenges thrive in an environment that fosters personal growth and academic success.
As a Special Needs Teacher (SEN Teacher), you will play an essential role in delivering personalised education and offering the right support to meet the diverse needs of the students. You’ll work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals to provide a tailored and engaging curriculum.
SEN Teacher Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to cater to students with a range of SEN needs.
- Provide individualised support to students, addressing both academic and social development.
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure a coordinated approach to SEN provision.
- Regularly assess and track student progress, making adjustments to teaching methods as necessary.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers, providing updates on student progress.
- Contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos and values by encouraging high standards of behaviour and learning.
Qualification & Skills that we’re looking for in a SEN Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching students with special educational needs.
- Knowledge of various SEN, including Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning barriers.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual students' needs.

- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
- Possess an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
