Location: Sheffield (S9)

Salary: £155 - £200 per day (Depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Job Type: Full-time (Temporary/ Permanent)

GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Sheffield (S9). This is an excellent chance to inspire students and deliver high-quality lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, or Religious Studies. With the potential for a temp-to-perm arrangement, this role offers stability and career progression for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities of the Humanities Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Humanities curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to support all students.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure educational development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the school's ethos and objectives.
  • Maintain strong classroom management and uphold school policies.

Requirements of the Humanities Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Humanities subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, or Religious Studies.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
