SEND Teaching Assistant – Merton
Salary: £90 to £110 per day

Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs? GSL Education is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated school in Merton.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualised support to students with SEND, ensuring they thrive in the classroom.
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored lesson plans and adapting resources to suit student needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage students’ social and emotional development.
- Support the implementation of EHCPs to help students achieve their learning goals.
What We Need from You
- Experience in an SEN or similar role is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, resilience, and a compassionate attitude towards supporting students with additional needs.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
