Location: Blandford

Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 annually (MPS/UPS)

Start Date: Immediate / April 2025

Responsibilities of a Primary SEN Teacher:

  • Planning and delivering individualized lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of students with SEN.
  • Encouraging student engagement and fostering a love of learning in a safe, inclusive environment.
  • Collaborating with teaching assistants, specialists, and families to develop effective support strategies.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, adapting teaching methods where necessary to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Promoting the social, emotional, and academic growth of all students in your care.

Requirements for a Primary SEN Teacher:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience working with primary-aged students with SEN.
  • A compassionate and proactive approach to meeting the diverse needs of students.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with an Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
