Primary SEN Teacher
Location: Ringwood
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 annually (MPS/UPS)
Start Date: Immediate / April 2025
Job Type: Full-time/Permanent

GSL Education are looking for a Primary SEN Teacher to join an inclusive and nurturing school in Ringwood. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to make a meaningful impact by empowering children with SEN to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities of a Primary SEN Teacher:
- Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment to build confidence and encourage participation.
- Supporting students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
- Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to develop effective support plans.
- Regularly assessing and monitoring student progress, adapting strategies to meet their evolving needs.
Requirements for a Primary SEN Teacher:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience working with primary-aged students with SEN.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- A proactive and empathetic approach to meeting the needs of children with additional challenges.
- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with an Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
