Primary SEN Teacher
Location: Christchurch
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 annually (MPS/UPS)
Start Date: Immediate / April 2025
Job Type: Full-time/Permanent

GSL Education are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Primary SEN Teacher to join a nurturing and inclusive school in Christchurch. This role is perfect for a compassionate educator who is eager to inspire and empower students with additional needs, helping them to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities of a Primary SEN Teacher:
- Designing and delivering creative and individualized lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs.
- Supporting children with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
- Collaborating with teaching assistants, specialists, and parents to ensure holistic student development.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, adapting strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students.
Requirements for a Primary SEN Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience working with primary-age children with SEN.
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection, supported by a current Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one).
