1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Winton
Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Winton on an immediate basis. This role allows you to provide personalised support to a student, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential in a nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Providing tailored support to a student with special educational needs to meet their individual learning goals.
- Assisting the class teacher in implementing personalised strategies to support the student’s engagement and progress.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where the student feels valued and encouraged.
- Monitoring and documenting the student’s progress, sharing updates with teachers and parents.
- Supporting the student in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
Requirements of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one.
