Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, tailoring their approach to meet the diverse needs of students and fostering a passion for the Humanities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Humanities subjects in line with the National Curriculum.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning and participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Humanities curriculum and share best practices.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich students’ educational experiences.
Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Degree in a relevant Humanities discipline.
- Experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level.
- Strong understanding of effective teaching strategies and classroom management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
