SEN Support Worker
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Support Worker to join a welcoming school in Bournemouth. Responsibilities of a SEN Support Worker:
- Provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting classroom activities to suit individual needs.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Encourage students to develop their confidence, independence, and social skills.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to the teaching team and parents.
Requirements of a SEN Support Worker:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is essential.
- A patient, caring, and understanding approach to working with students.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
