Salary: £20,107 to £22,891 Per Annum
Location: Bournemouth
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent
Start date: Immediate / April

Are you passionate about inspiring students to lead healthy lifestyles and achieve their full potential through physical activity? GSL Education are currently looking for a dedicated PE Teacher to join a local school based in Bournemouth immediately. An April start is also possible.

About the Role:

As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, inspire students to lead active lifestyles, and help them reach their full potential through physical activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Lead the development and implementation of PE curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Encourage student participation in a wide range of physical activities to promote health and fitness.
  • Take on a leadership role in developing the department, including managing resources and supporting colleagues.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and promote physical education across the curriculum.
  • Lead initiatives and strategies to ensure student success and well-being.

Ideal Candidate:

  • PE Teacher with experience in teaching physical education across various age groups. This position is open to unqualified teachers and sport coaches too.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate both students and staff.
  • Passionate about encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle for all students.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to create and implement a vision for the future development of PE within the school.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
