Job Title: SEN Coordinator
Salary: £25,000 to £28,462 Per Annum
Location: Bournemouth
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent
Start date: Immediate / April

GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join a local school based in Bournemouth as a SEN Coordinator immediately. An April start is also possible.
About the Role:
As a SEN Coordinator, you will ensure that all students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), have equal access to a high-quality education and the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the SEN provision across the school.
- Provide strategic direction and support to ensure that students with SEN receive tailored, effective interventions.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to implement inclusive practices that foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Liaise with parents, external agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure that the needs of SEN students are met.
- Monitor the progress and achievement of students with SEN, using data to inform planning and interventions.
- Support and advise staff on best practices for working with students with additional needs.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of SEN legislation and best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- A compassionate, student-focused approach, with a commitment to promoting equality and inclusion for all.
