SEND Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £83.33 - £95.00 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEN school in Lincoln. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills while making a real difference to the lives of students with additional needs.
Responsibilities of a SEND Graduate Teaching Assistant (GRAD TA):
- Provide tailored one-to-one and group support to students with SEND.
- Assist in the delivery of lessons, adapting content to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Work closely with the SEN team to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes student confidence and independence.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements of a SEND Graduate Teaching Assistant (GRAD TA):
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, psychology, or child development) is preferred.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND is essential.
- A compassionate, proactive, and patient approach to supporting learning and development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
