1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £83.33 - £95.00 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to work at an exceptional SEN school in Lincoln. This role is a fantastic opportunity to provide tailored support to an individual student, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Provide personalised, one-to-one support for a student with specific learning needs.
- Assist with academic tasks, promoting engagement and understanding.
- Encourage social interaction and emotional well-being, building the student’s confidence.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and SEN staff to deliver tailored interventions.
- Monitor progress and adapt support strategies to meet the student's evolving needs.
Requirements 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working in an SEN environment or supporting students with additional needs is essential.
- A caring, patient, and flexible approach to addressing individual learning styles.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.
- A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection
