Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Start date- Immediate
Pay: £95 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for confident and adaptable individuals to join schools in the S35 area of Sheffield as Cover Supervisors. This role is ideal for those passionate about education and looking to gain hands-on experience in a school environment.

Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will take charge of the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. Your role will involve ensuring that students remain engaged with their learning and that the day runs smoothly.

Cover Supervisor Key Duties:

  • Manage and supervise classes using pre-set work provided by the school.
  • Ensure students are focused and completing their assignments effectively.
  • Uphold the school’s behaviour policies and address any minor disruptions.
  • Provide students with assistance and encouragement during lessons.
  • Record and report on student progress for the absent teacher’s review.

Requirements to Join GSL Education:

  • An updated CV with two professional references from the last two years.
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or the willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
