Pay Rate: £90 - £130 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role:
As an RE Teacher, you will inspire students to explore and appreciate religious beliefs, moral values and philosophical ideas. You will play a vital role in broadening their horizons and promoting a culture of inclusivity and mutual respect.
RE Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum for Religious Education, ensuring they are engaging and thought-provoking.
- Encourage critical thinking and open discussions about ethical, moral and cultural issues.
- Plan, assess and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
- Foster a classroom environment that is inclusive, respectful and conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular links and enrichment activities.
- Uphold school policies and contribute positively to the wider school community.
RE Teacher Job Requirements:
- A recognised teaching qualification Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with specialisation or significant experience in Religious Education.
- A strong academic background, ideally with a degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in delivering outstanding RE lessons at secondary or post-16 levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire students of all abilities.

- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
