SEN Teaching Assistant – Tiverton
Location: Tiverton
Salary: £80 - £90 per day

GSL Education is supporting an exceptional SEN school in Tiverton, seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term roles. If you are passionate about providing inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs, this opportunity is ideal.
About the Role
The school caters to students with complex needs and EHCPs who may require additional support to succeed academically and socially. The role involves working closely with students, often on a one-to-one basis, and supporting personalised learning plans both in and outside the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a learning mentor, providing tailored guidance and support to students.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver holistic support.
- Foster a positive environment that supports students' social and communication skills.
- Assist with daily learning activities and implement strategies for positive behaviour.
Requirements
- A valid UK Driving Licence and access to a car.
- Willingness to use your car for business purposes with business insurance.
- Availability for immediate, full-time work during term time.
- Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to student success.
