Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
- Planning and implementing engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback to support their development
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the school’s Maths curriculum development
- Participating in parent-teacher meetings and contributing to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified Maths Teacher with a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Maths
- Proven experience teaching secondary school students, with excellent subject knowledge
- A passion for Maths and inspiring students to reach their full potential
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to work as part of a team
- Available to commit to a maternity cover role for the duration of the assignment
