Role: Dance Teacher (Cover)
Location: Various Secondary Schools, Southampton

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging dance lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Ensuring high standards of teaching and classroom management
  • Tailoring lessons to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Managing pupil behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Contributing to the wider school community and extra-curricular activities

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Dance Teacher with a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of dance techniques, styles, and theory
  • Experience working with secondary school students
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Passionate about inspiring and motivating students to reach their full potential
  • Ability to adapt to different school environments and work effectively as part of a team
