About the Role:
As an SEN Support Worker, you will provide tailored assistance to students with additional needs, working closely with teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist in delivering engaging lessons that cater to individual learning requirements.
  • Foster a supportive atmosphere to encourage student participation and independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement personalised education plans.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, celebrating achievements and identifying areas for improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is an advantage.
  • A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners.

To Work with GSL Education as an SEN Support Worker, You Must:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
