Job Title: Classroom Support Worker
Location: Bovington
Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 Per Hour (Depending on Experience)

About the Role:

As a Classroom Support Worker, you will be an integral part of the classroom team, ensuring students receive the guidance they need to succeed academically and personally. Whether it’s helping with classroom activities, providing tailored support to individual learners, or fostering an inclusive environment, your contributions will make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities of a Classroom Support Worker:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in preparing and delivering engaging learning activities.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who may need extra help.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all learners.
  • Support students with their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Monitor and report student progress and behaviour to teachers and parents.
  • Help manage classroom resources and maintain an organised learning space.
  • Support students with additional needs, ensuring they have equal access to education.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students where necessary.

Skills & Qualification:

  • A degree in Education, Psychology or a similar field.
  • Prior experience as a Classroom Support Worker or in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with students.
  • Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
