Salary: £80 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate High-Needs SEN Learning Support Assistant to provide one-on-one and small group support for students with significant learning needs. About the Role:
As a High-Needs SEN Learning Support Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored support to students with complex and challenging needs, ensuring they have access to an engaging and inclusive learning environment. You will play an integral role in the success of students with high-needs SEN by assisting them in overcoming academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure that each student receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personalized Support: Offer tailored one-on-one or small group support to students with high-needs SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Individualized Learning Plans: Work with teachers to adapt lessons, resources, and strategies to meet the unique needs of each student and help them achieve their learning goals.
- Behavior Management: Assist students in managing challenging behaviors by implementing strategies to improve focus, regulation, and emotional well-being.
- Monitor Progress: Track and report on the students’ progress, providing detailed feedback to the teaching team, parents, and other professionals.
- Promote Independence: Encourage students to become more independent, helping them develop confidence, self-esteem, and essential life skills.
- Collaborative Work: Partner with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to create and deliver effective learning strategies that meet the diverse needs of students.
- Fostering Inclusion: Help to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued and able to succeed.
- Professional Development: Engage in training and development to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in SEN support.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience with High-Needs SEN: Previous experience supporting students with high-needs special educational needs is highly desirable.
- A Passion for SEN Support: A genuine passion for working with children with complex learning needs and a commitment to providing the best possible support.
- Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to create positive relationships and ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Patience and Empathy: A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students who face additional challenges in their learning and behavior.
- Creative Problem Solver: Ability to think creatively and adapt strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
- Clear Enhanced DBS: An updated CV (with two relevant references covering the last two years) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
