As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, contributing to their academic and personal development. Location: South Benfleet
Salary Scale: £84-£100
Contract Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you will collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans.
- As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you will provide targeted support to individuals and small groups based on their learning requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their well-being and engagement.
- As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you will collaborate with parents and other professionals to ensure a holistic support system.
- Support the implementation of behavior management strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, particularly in supporting students with SEN is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting student success.
- Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team.
