Location: Harlow
Pay Rate: £140- £270 (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day/Long-Term, Full-time/Part-time

About the Role:

As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, tailored to meet the diverse needs of your students. You will create a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity and a love for learning.

Class Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the varied needs of all students.
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that supports both academic and personal growth.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Implement innovative teaching strategies to engage students and enhance their learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement the school’s curriculum and policies.
  • Establish strong relationships with students, parents and the wider school community.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Participate in school events, meetings and professional development opportunities.

Class Teacher Job Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a Class Teacher with a track record of successful teaching.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
