Pay Rate: £140-£270 per day (Depending on experience)

Role Overview:

As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and stimulating lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team, committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the National Curriculum for KS1.
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages active learning and student participation.
  • Assess, record and report on the progress and attainment of students, providing constructive feedback.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of all students.
  • Develop and implement creative and innovative teaching strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to build strong partnerships and support student development.
  • Participate in school events, meetings and professional development opportunities.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Have a specialised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in teaching KS1 students.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their holistic development.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to respond to the dynamic needs of the classroom.
  • Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Have an updated CV (with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
