Location: Dibden Purlieu
Salary: £12.82 to £14.72 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join schools in Dibden Purlieu. This role will allow you to support teachers in delivering lessons while contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
As a Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support the teacher in facilitating lessons and providing targeted assistance to students. You'll work alongside educators to create an inclusive environment where students feel motivated, confident, and encouraged to achieve their academic goals.
TA Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of lessons and provide classroom support to students.
- Work with students in small groups or one-to-one settings to enhance their understanding of various subjects.
- Prepare materials and resources to assist in lesson planning.
- Promote student engagement, ensuring participation and maintaining focus during activities.
- Support students in developing literacy, numeracy, and other key skills.
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive atmosphere.
- Ensure students' wellbeing and safety during the school day.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and areas of improvement.
Requirements & Skills:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in an educational support role is desirable.
- Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare are beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students and staff.
- A genuine passion for supporting students' education and personal development.
- Flexibility and adaptability to support different age groups and learning environments.

- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
- Possess a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
