About the Role:

As an SEN Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching and inspiring students with SEND, including those with SEMH.
  • Developing and delivering personalised lesson plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Working closely with support staff to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies to meet goals.
  • Encouraging student independence and fostering a love for learning.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in SEN or SEMH settings is beneficial.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection is required.
  • Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate, resilient, and proactive teaching approach.
