Salary: £83 - £100 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time

Are you passionate about becoming an Educational Psychologist? If so, GSL Education wants to hear from you! We are currently seeking Psychology Graduates to join our Client Secondary School in York, North Yorkshire, as a Teaching Assistant, starting in January 2025.
Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated support to SEMH students with additional needs such as mental health challenges, behavioural difficulties, and autism.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers, senior leadership teams, and external agencies.
- Support students in building their self-confidence and self-esteem.
- Establish strong, positive relationships with students through 1:1 and small group support.
- Manage behaviour in alignment with the school's policies and ethos.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
