About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide academic and emotional support to students with SEND, including SEMH.
- Work collaboratively with educators to adapt lessons to individual needs.
- Build trusting relationships with students, fostering confidence and independence.
- Assist in implementing personalised education and behaviour support plans.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in an SEMH or SEN role is beneficial but not required.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A positive, patient, and flexible approach to working with children.
