About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored support to students with special educational needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health).
- Assisting in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to deliver personalised support plans.
- Encouraging students' confidence, independence, and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an SEMH or SEN setting is preferable but not essential.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with students.
