Physics Instructor (Graduate Welcome to Apply)
Location: Harlow
Salary: £120 - £260 per day
Position: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP

A popular secondary school located in Harlow is looking to secure a Physics Instructor to join their team. This school, rated as "Good" by Ofsted, is seeking an enthusiastic individual passionate about teaching Physics. The school is situated in Harlow, with excellent transport links and nearby amenities.


ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND THE PHYSICS INSTRUCTOR ROLE:

  • A medium-sized secondary school.
  • Support the Head of Department by delivering high-quality Physics lessons and contributing to the department’s improvement plans.
  • Participate in staff development activities and contribute to the school community.
  • Deliver engaging lessons aligned with syllabuses, schemes of work, and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Monitor and report student progress in Physics to the Head of Department and parents/carers.

THE IDEAL PHYSICS INSTRUCTOR WILL:

  • Be confident in teaching Physics up to A-Level.
  • Be enthusiastic, creative, and patient, with a flexible teaching approach.
  • Hold a degree in Physics or a related subject (graduates welcome to apply).
  • Hold or be working towards a teaching qualification.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Be able to provide references covering the last two years of employment.
  • Have a fully enhanced DBS on the online update service (or be willing to obtain one).
