Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Christchurch
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (Depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time / part-time
Start: January / April

About the role:
As a SEN Teacher, you will provide tailored education and support to students with diverse needs, fostering their academic and personal development. You will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that empowers students to achieve their full potential.
Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the needs of students with SEND.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to support student development.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding practices.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching students with SEN, ideally within a specialist or inclusive setting.
- Strong understanding of SEND strategies and behaviour management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
