Pay Rate: £30,000 - £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

We are seeking a dedicated Food Tech Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in the Southampton.
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will inspire students to explore their creativity and develop essential life skills. You will deliver engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum and encourage a love for cooking and nutrition.
Responsibilities of the Food Tech Teacher:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Food Technology lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop creative and practical lesson plans that engage and motivate students.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure success.
- Promote health, safety, and hygiene standards within the classroom and kitchen environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and best practices.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or events.
Requirements of the Food Technology Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Specialism in Food Technology or a relevant subject area.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- A proactive approach to professional development and continuous learning.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
