GSL Education London are looking for a committed Cover Teacher (Maths) to become part of a vibrant team at a client secondary school in Enfield. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate Cover Teacher (Maths) to motivate and support students in their mathematics education.
Responsibilities of a Cover Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to secondary school students.
- Support the teaching and learning of maths across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to help students improve their maths skills.
- Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements of a Cover Teacher:
- Previous experience as a Cover Teacher (Maths) or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the maths curriculum and teaching methods.
- Ability to teach and support students at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
