1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Boscombe
Salary: £76.92 - £95.68 per day (Depending on experience)
Start date: January 2025
Contract type: Full Time/Part time
GSL Education are looking for a committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join an exceptional school in Boscombe. You will work closely with students to help them engage with their learning in a way that suits their unique needs, fostering an environment where they can grow academically and emotionally. Responsibilities:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide individual support to a student, ensuring they can access the curriculum.

Help the student develop both academic and social skills.

Encourage and promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.

Track the student’s progress and assist in reporting development to the teaching staff.

Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for the student to thrive in.

Collaborate with teachers to create personalised learning plans and activities.
Requirements:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant Role, you should have:

Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to the needs of the student.

A commitment to providing high-quality support to students.

Willingness to undergo all necessary safeguarding checks.
