ECT Primary Teacher (KS1 Teacher)
Location: Harlow, Chelmsford
Salary: M1 - M2 Pay Scale

GSL Education’s Chelmsford branch is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join one of our client schools in Harlow as an Early Career Teacher (ECT). This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher looking to start their teaching career in a supportive and vibrant environment, or an experienced KS1 teacher ready for a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities for ECT Primary Teacher (KS1 Teacher):

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
  • Assess and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement exciting and innovative lessons.
  • Engage with parents and carers to support students' development and well-being.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in school events and activities.

Qualifications and Experience for ECT Primary Teacher (KS1 Teacher):

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or on track to achieve QTS.
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching young learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.
