Location: Swale
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (Depending on Experience)

As a Teacher of Science, you will join a collaborative and forward-thinking team dedicated to student success and staff development.

Your Role as a Science Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons to students across the secondary school age range.
  • Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for science through creative and practical teaching.
  • Assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students are encouraged to participate and excel.
  • Collaborate with the science department to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
  • Promote opportunities for students to engage in practical experiments, science projects, and extracurricular activities.
  • Support students of varying abilities to ensure they achieve success in science.

The Ideal Science Teacher Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Overseas-trained teachers are also encouraged to apply.
  • Have a degree in Science or a closely related subject (specialisms in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics are welcomed).
  • Demonstrate a passion for teaching science and inspiring young minds.
  • Possess strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Be adaptable, proactive, and committed to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Have a desire to contribute positively to the wider school community.
