Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Grantham
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: £83.33 - £95.00 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a school in Grantham. This is a fantastic opportunity to play an active role in supporting students' academic and personal development, ensuring that each student receives the individual attention they need to succeed.
Responsibilities:
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and activities.

Work with small groups or individual students to provide tailored learning support.

Help students develop essential skills, both academically and socially.

Encourage positive behaviour and foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
-
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers to help track development.
Requirements:
To be successful as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will need:

A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable).

A good understanding of supporting students with a range of learning needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive and patient approach to supporting students.

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
